These children in Tigray in northern Ethiopia receive only simple teaching as they sit in thatched circles of rocks called "Dasses."

Their parents farm a rugged land plagued by droughts and famines. Families live in villages of traditional round mud and stick huts.

Mimi's Building Blocks  was started by Mimi O'Hagan in 2006 to raise funds for Save the Children to build schools in Tigray province.

Help Mimi's Building Blocks build a school with water and give the children of Tigray a better future.
